Kaua'i - The Garden Island

Aloha and welcome to Kaua'i, the Garden Island, where incredible natural beauty surpasses that of human imagination. From the heights overlooking the Pacific Grand Canyon, to our renown Na Pali Coastline, Kauai offers such an array of beauty that you'll be convinced that Mother Nature herself has made Kauai her home.

The oldest and most northern of our Hawaiian Island chain, Kauai is truly blessed with mild tropical weather year round. Viewing waterfall etched mountains with limitless colors of green and miles of white sand beaches, you may find yourself fantasizing how it must have been when Captain Cook first visited our island shores.

Kauai’s beauty has attracted not only visitors but also the movie industry. The movies " Jurassic Park", "Last Flight of Noah's Ark", "South Pacific", "Indiana Jones", a few of Elvis Presley's movies and others were filmed here in order to use our natural beauty as their backdrop.

Kaua'i is said to be the vacation destination of choice. Blending enchantments of the ancient Hawaiian life-stile with all the modern conveniences, a laid-back, relaxing feeling seems to overcome those who visit our shores. Some of the activities available during your visit are snorkeling, scuba diving, shore fishing, deep sea fishing and kayaking. There are helicopter tours, whale-watching, boat rides along our Na Pali Coast or up the Wailua River to the Fern Grotto, hiking along our many trails or just laying back enjoying our tropical breezes while sitting next to the pool, or on the beach.

On our south shore, only 20 minutes from Lihue Airport, you will find the community of Poipu. Here is the home of most of our newest hotels that are right on some of our sunny beaches. Deciding where to vacation? Come to Kauai and join those before you who walk away with the feeling that can only be felt from being somewhere uniquely special.
